Pen Pic:
A talented wide right player who can put over pin point crosses and gave Gloucester welcome options from free kicks and corners. Had disappointing form in the 99/00 Mike Wyattseason despite having largely steered clear of injuries, too often allowing himself to be frozen out of matches. In fairness to Wyatt much of the lack of attacking opportunities was due to his willingness to track back and help out at the back, but even so a little more was needed from him than the simple stability he offered. His departure for Worcester City in May 2000 came as a blow, being one of the few player's of genuine quality left at the club at the time.
Wyatt was poised to join Conference side Yeovil before being lured to Meadow Park by Rosenior in 1998, who once again made use of connections from his time at Ashton Gate. Wyatt had been one of the few highlights of Bath's relegation season in 1996/7 but was not kept on by new Bath boss Paul Bodin and instead signed a one year contract with Gloucester.  Scored on his home debut against Dorchester and generally impressed before unfortunately seeing his 98/9 season side tracked by a viral infection which caused him worrying breathing problems and caused him to miss much of that autumn.
