Jody Taylor is a young striker who has shown plenty of promise since arriving at the club from Hellenic Premier outfit Harrow Hill. Initially joining pre-season as a triallist he made an immediate impression, scoring in his first friednly outing at Ledbury Town and going on to add a couple more goals during the summer. His potential has persuaded City boss Tim Harris to find him a place in the squad and although he seems set to spend some time gaining epxerience and match sharpness with Shortwood United he will get a chance to progress during the season. Taylor certainly has an eye for goal, and although his positioning and movement still suggest he is a raw talent he is alert and sharp in the box with the pace and presence to unsettle defenders.
